December 1st – 6th. Week 49 of the year 2014!
With the year almost coming to an end and Kristen’s wedding coming up in two weeks, it feels like there is so much to do in the week. Last week was busy with 2 trips to Bella Collina, driving to Cape Canaveral for a senior session, then shooting family holiday portraits while Krista was busy with a dinner rehearsal and wedding on the weekend. We’re a couple days behind on our Keeping Up with KWP post, but there is so much going on! Yay!
On Monday, Kristen and Krista met with Shelby and Drew at Bella Collina for a relaxed sunrise session before they headed home to Atlanta! The light was beyond incredible and Shelby relaxed her wedding day attire by taking off her sparkly belt, letting the straps fall where they wanted, and forgoing the veil for a simple hair style and makeup look!
Wednesday: Megan’s Senior Portraits in Cape Canaveral. We were so thrilled to work with the talented Kim McFadden (owner of Chalk Shop) for her daughter’s senior photos! Megan is an extremely skilled swimmer who loves the water and everything about the beach! So we chose a beautiful isolated beach on Florida’s east coast for her session! We ended the session with a super sweet photo of Kim with her 2 daughters, Megan and Natalie.
On Thursday, Kristen joined Sherri and Frank for their gorgeous Bella Collina engagement session! They’re getting married there next September. We especially loved Sherri’s sunset gown, a sparkly Badgley Mischka formal dress!
Friday: Kristen spent the evening with the Hobgood family capturing pictures for their holiday cards. After buying their new house, a huge renovation project for 2015, everyone was so excited and their smiles were endless! We’ll be heading back when it’s all finished to see all of their changes! On the other side of town, Krista was at the Gourlay Rehearsal Dinner at Citrus Club meeting everyone before the wedding on Saturday.
CJ (a professional surfer), has the Champagne Spray down…. but more importantly, I ADORE the look on Bowie’s face!!
Last Weekend, Krista joined the Gantner and Gourlays at their rehearsal dinner at the Citrus Club in Orlando. On Saturday, the ceremony was held at the beautiful St. James Cathedral in Orlando for Ashley and Ross’s wedding ceremony and then at the Ballroom on Church street to dance the night away at the reception. It was great to see so many guests from all over – like Trinidad and California – on the dance floor. Everything went so smoothly thanks to Heather from Weddings Unique!
