I recently had the pleasure of attending The Hybrid Collective workshop in Park City, Utah. This was my first time attending a workshop and I was so ready to learn!
The Hybrid Collective is a creative workshop hosted by successful photographers, business owners. The goal at Hybrid is really to educate and inspire, combining general session and breakout courses along with beautiful styled shoots.
I went “all in” on this workshop since it was my first time (and yes, I already signed up for the next one in 2023!) So I happily signed up for 4 styled shoots. I should mention it was also my first time in Utah. I got a little taste of fall with the leaves changing although it was still 80 degrees outside. I loved meeting so many new photographers and shared so many fun moments over grilled cheeses and wine!
I’ll be sharing my images from the styled shoots over the next few months, but I wanted to start with the first of the 4 shoots!
It was hosted by Lucy Munoz in collaboration with Rachel Ellen Events. I have followed Lucy for years and have always loved her eye for soft, feminine details and natural posing. So I was really excited to learn from her and see how she approached her shoots with film.

In this shoot we’ll focus on photographing romantic and beautiful details influenced by patterns of light, color, and texture at the River Bottoms Ranch.
