If there was ever a perfect venue for a wedding, an art museum in Tampa is definitely the ideal fit for this one. Starting at a modern and elegant family home, Allison and Sam’s wedding day carried that energy all the way through. From their striking black-and-white-everything palette to the unique and gorgeous bridesmaid dresses, they perfectly blended minimal and ultramodern. Their details were no exception, with intricate stationery by Paper Goat Post featuring their monogram. Their schnauzer, Doug (the real star of the show), watched intently as Kristen styled everything.

Effortlessly Modern, Timelessly Chic

Allison and her girls popping a custom bottle of Veuve Clicquot gave a little peek at the party to come. Shortly after it was time to slip into a chic Ines De Santo dress. It’s design was complimented perfectly by her shoes from Prada. From there, everyone hopped into the cutest trolley to head over to the church for Sam and Allison’s first look. Sam opted for a classic black and white look with a peak lapel and bowtie.

After their first look and private vows thoroughly hit everyone right in the feels, it was off to the ceremony. The awe-inspiring architecture of the Palma Ceia Presbyterian Church made for the perfect backdrop for Sam and Allie’s union. After a heartfelt whirlwind of readings, vows and blessings, Allison and Sam shared their first kiss to the many cheers and well-wishes of their closest friends and family. The real celebration was just getting started though, kicked off by a shower of flower petals on their way out of the church.

An Electric Reception: Tampa Museum of Art Wedding

After another ride on the world’s most adorable trolley, Sam, Allie and all their guests kept the energy going through cocktail hour. The stunning Tampa Museum of Art created the perfect atmosphere. Staying true to the classic theme, the signature cocktail was a delicious orange and vanilla old-fashioned, served on a napkin featuring the legend himself: Doug. Of all the incredible vendors that helped bring Allie and Sam’s vision to life, one of the biggest showstoppers had to be the extraordinary florals by Floral Fire. The floating, three-tiered cake was no exception, delicately draped in white orchids. This is also where our favorite furry friend made his final appearance for the night, shamelessly nibbling on the work of art.

The reception kicked off with all the familiar festivities, entrances and toasts before a dinner worthy of a Michelin Star or three. Once the food settled and the cake was cut, it was straight to open dancing and dance. They. Did. Led by the electric C’Nergy Music band, the guests made it known that they came to party. It was a blur of Michelob Ultras and the greatest dance moves ever seen (a groomsman was doing pushups?). The sound of brass and cheers carried far beyond the festoon lighting and will live forever in the hearts of everyone who was lucky enough to play a part. Although like all good things, it had to come to an end. Thankfully, this unforgettable day was just the beginning of Allison, Sam and Doug’s long journey together. Here’s to many more beers and many, many more years.
