Matt and Sarah are a family-forward, devoted, and fun-loving couple, and this was beautifully reflected in their wedding at Palma Ceia Country Club. Under the bright Florida sunshine, on the beautiful front lawn of one of their favorite venues, Matt and Sarah exchanged vows, promising each other more days filled with light and joy. Matt’s sister officiated, adding a personal touch as they remembered that she, along with Matt’s parents, had also been married at Palma Ceia. The elegant cocktail hour seamlessly transitioned into a lively reception, where guests danced the night away in celebration. Matt and Sarah envisioned a vibe that was both elevated and coastal—luxurious yet distinctly Florida-inspired. The cocktail hour featured crisp whites and lush, costal greens, accented with touches of sky blue. A violinist played during the ceremony and cocktail hour, adding a classic elegance to the event, while gator stir-sticks for drinks and shell place card holders brought a fun, personal touch to an elegant celebration.
Bridal Style
Sarah’s style was breathtaking, as she stole the spotlight in her long white dress from the renowned Alta Moda Bridal Studio in Utah. Heads turned as she walked down the aisle, her hair and makeup by Denise Burkle, known as DB Studio, enhancing her natural beauty. The soft blues of the bridesmaids’ dresses and pastel green highlights beautifully complemented the crisp whites, adding to Sarah’s bridal glow. Her look reflected and enhanced the seamless elegance of the day.

Sarah and Matt dreamed of an elevated coastal look for their wedding, incorporating the help of their family and friends to fill the event with personal touches and loving memories.
One of Sarah’s favorite personal details was the Florida-inspired décor she chose for cocktail hour, including gator stir sticks, oyster bar signs, and seashells. Her father also created a large seating chart adorned with gold accents.
A heartfelt memorial was set for Matt’s father, who passed away in 2020—a seat was reserved for him during the ceremony, with a bundle of white roses placed there by Matt’s mother.
Golf & Details
Among the many things Matt and Sarah have in common is their love of golf. It was only fitting that they celebrated their wedding at Palma Ceia Country Club, a place where they’ve shared many memorable games and so much laughter. Their appreciation for sweet, simple details was evident in Sarah’s bouquet, beautifully styled by Save The Date Florida Florist, the decorative golf ball party favors, and the sky blue accents of their cocktail hour.

The reception decor was personally curated, with every detail overseen by the bride herself. Local florist Save The Date Florida adorned each table with stunning floral arrangements, while Impulse Entertainment set up a stage against the vaulted windows. Laura Walsh from Laura Walsh Events ensured the transition from cocktail hour to reception was seamless and natural. The high ceilings and breathtaking chandeliers of the Palma Ceia Country Club added an air of elegance and grandeur, making it the perfect venue for Matt and Sarah’s timeless yet effortlessly preppy celebration.
Reception
The reception was an absolute blast, starting off with sweet, intimate moments like Matt and Sarah’s first dance and Sarah’s touching dance with her father. As the evening went on, the energy shifted—lights dimmed, music amped up, and the dancing began. Sarah slipped into a mini dress that perfectly matched the lively energy of the night, and the celebration continued. With music from Impulse Entertainment fueling the crowd, the dance floor came alive. All too soon, the party was over and the couple was ready to leave. The getaway car pulled up, and Sarah and Matt waved to their guests as they pulled away, on their way to their next adventure—a honeymoon in the Bahamas.
