On Saturday, I was blessed to join Nicole and Nick Mihelich for their amazing West Palm Beach wedding! Since meeting this eclectic couple in November for their engagement photos, they have become quick friends – and I can see why they are loved by so many! Just checking in to the hotel, I was greeted by a cute little gift bag of Grandma’s Belly-Button Cookies and a custom damask Evian bottle!
These two had a beautiful meeting, over the fence, when Nick and Nicole found themselves as neighbors in their historic WPB bungalows. Sharing a love for music, DIY projects and all things rustic, Nick courted Nicole until they decided to tear down the fence and join in their new lives together.
They chose January 9th as their wedding date – little did they know how special this day would be! Saturday morning, it actually snowed in Florida! Granted, not in WPB… but in Orlando! The weather in WPB was cold and rainy, and although it’s not ideal wedding weather (sorry outdoor photos!), they will always remember the love they shared when it’s cold and rainy, as they’re snuggled up in sweats in their little bungalow, drinking hot chocolate and watching a movie 20 years from now.
This wedding was also special for me because I got to see my dear friend, Heather (Nicole’s bridesmaid) who introduced me to Nicole last summer, as well as a new bride and groom – Marisol and Scott (who will be getting married in Melbourne in April)!
The reception was a blast – the DJ had everyone out of their seat and on the dance floor all night (and the glowsticks were rockin!).
