Bella Collina Wedding
I absolutely adore photographing intimate weddings, so when Lisa and Peter contacted me for their quaint Bella Collina wedding, I was really excited to get to know this new family! Joined by Lisa’s children and their closest friends and family – they were married in a sunlit atrium and danced under the stars!
Lisa and Pete met on Match.com two years ago, when he told her that if she went out with him, it would be the best date of her life. As it turned out, it was the best! Soon after they had met, the couple went to Europe for Lisa’s job and had the most amazing time. As Lisa puts it, “It was like I had known him for a thousand years.” Pete proposed to Lisa this past New Years Eve on a lake. While she had thought he was on one knee because he had drank a bit too much, it turned out to be a night the couple will surely never forget!
The wedding day was filled with shades of blush and navy. There were delicate and classic roses in the bouquets paired along side the darker blue bridesmaid gowns. I had the chance to take Lisa and Pete out to the fields to take some seriously incredible photos. Bella Collina’s fields always creates a beautiful backdrop, but this night’s were especially gorgeous! All of the guests seriously danced their hearts out, and the newly wed couple left the venue with a sparkler exit and champagne!
I always love working with local vendors that I have great relationships with – so it made the day even more seamless! Some of my favorites got together for Lisa and Peter and really made their day perfect.
