It is always such a pleasure when another photographer asks me to shoot big moments in their life. It is even more of a pleasure when it is someone who you are dear friends with. I have known Jenn and David for years, from their engagement to their wedding to their one-year anniversary… I’ve been there for it all!! Jenn is a photographer is Jacksonville that specializes in Weddings, Family, and Maternity. So imagine my excitement when she asked me to take her very own maternity photos!!
Jenn and David had been trying to get pregnant for quite some time with no luck. It wasn’t until Jenn was having some health issues that led her to having surgery, during her time in the hospital she learned that she was pregnant! I remember when Jenn told me the news, she sent me a picture of the sonogram with their dog Bella doing her famous side-eye in the background.
For the maternity session, Jenn picked out Washington Oaks Garden State Park In Palm Coast. After taking pictures with the beautiful scenery at the park we went over to the beach before ending our night at a cute diner. Since the maternity shoot, Jenn and David have welcomed their baby into the world. They opted to not know the sex beforehand so they were very excited to announce the birth of their baby boy, Jude Owens.
