An Underwater Wedding at the Florida Aquarium
Danielle confidently shared her tips for meeting a future husband, “In middle school, you’ll get the urge to steal that boy’s backpack and make him chase you for it back. It’s important you do it.” And a decade later, a deployment, med school and moves – Danielle and Alec were married underwater in front of a sea of creatures, family and friends!

Danielle brought her “underwater” theme across tones of blue and tiny details in her design, decor and attire! Their rooftop reception at The Florida Aquarium brought elements of surprise to guests – like a caricature artist, tattoo “bar”, aerialist, phone booth and light-up dance floor! Her wedding party mixed men and women on both sides and cocktail hour included a live penguin interaction (selfishly, the best part of being a photographer was getting to be part of their private meeting with Pebbles, the Penguin, before he joined the rest of the guests!).
The night was lively and fun – exactly the embodiment of Danielle and Alec’s relationship! Perfectly balanced and a little unhinged.
