This Bella Collina wedding truly was the perfect mix of elegant and glamorous. The color scheme for Samantha and Michael’s wedding day was white, rose gold, and sequins (sequins are a color right?!). The bridesmaids wore rosegold sequin dresses that went perfectly with the pink sequin table runners at the reception. The centerpieces at the reception even had a sparkly accent on them!
I’ve known Samantha for the better part of my career as a photographer, so it was incredibly fun to get to spend the day with her for her wedding! I’ve always known her to be a bit of an overthinker (a girl after my own heart!), so some of the stress of the wedding day definitely crept in a little bit. One of my favorite shots from the day was a rare behind the scenes photo of me sitting with her in the locker room. She just needed a little break, needed a little chit-chat, and then she was ready to get married!
And just a quick note to any future couples – girls (and boys), if you need a break – take it! It’s your day and your vendors know how to catch up on timing. I’d so much rather a 10 minute refresh session then trying to push through and seeing you feel stressed. I feel like there’s this expectation that everything will be fun and perfect – but sometimes (a lot of times) there are parts of the day that can feel stressful and give you anxiety. So it’s important to take a minute if you need one, so you can enjoy yourself the rest of the day!

Bella Collina Lawn Ceremony
For the ceremony they had a gorgeous deconstructed arch full of colorful blooms, greenery and pampas grass; which was later repurposed behind the sweetheart table at the reception. After saying “I Do” guests tossed rose petals as Samantha and Michael walked down the aisle. Later at the reception the newlyweds had their first dance, accompanied by indoor sparklers!
They spent the night celebrating with all of their closest friends and family before doing a classic sparkler exit.
