A wintery palette of icy blue, navy and silver complemented Stephanie and Kevin’s Bella Collina wedding day, but the first dance was truly a surprise and something you’ll have to see!

Our last wedding of 2019 and our first wedding of 2020 were both at the stunning Bella Collina wedding venue! One of our favorite places to shoot, and one of the most unique wedding venues in Orlando.
Which is probably why Stephanie and Kevin chose to come here from their home in Philadelphia, PA to get married! Their wedding was on January 10th, 2020 – exactly 10 years after the day they started “officially” dating!
Originally Stephanie met Kevin in calculus class at UCF. And although that may sound a little standard, Stephanie levels it up just a bit. After chatting in class, she decided to look him up on Facebook. Since his name is a bit on the “normal” side – she did some deep digging and eventually found him through a FB group dedicated to the UCF Campus squirrels. This is real, folks.
After spending time together with lots of gatherings, hot cocoa and movies – life sort of jumped in and it would be almost 4 years until they reconnected. They started chatting in the fall, and then…
well, in Kevin’s words, “It was Christmas break nearly 4 years later when I drove to her hometown (a few hours out of the way) to visit her. I knew she was special and didn’t want to lose her again.”
A Fairytale Bella Collina Wedding Day
Walking down the aisle to an instrumental version of “I See the Light” from Disney’s movie, Tangled, Stephanie cried and laughed and loudly said “HI!” to her guests! Which basically sums up Stephanie, and the incredible light she gives off around her. You smile just being near her – and Kevin proudly mentioned that during his vows.
Bella Collina was the perfect spot for their wedding, which was a bit of a destination for them, since they have moved up to Philly for work. However, they definitely wanted to incorporate a love for all things sparkly and wintery!
So they chose a palette of ice blue, navy and silver to complement their wedding. They even debuted a brand new chandelier that looks like bursts of light!
A big highlight, and surprise for the guests, was the Florida “snow” during their first day! Everyone cheered and smiled and laughed right along with Stephanie and Kevin while they enjoyed their snow amongst a 70 degree sunset!
