Tavares Pavilion Lake Wedding
February 24, 2017 | Courtney and Michael
I’m really excited to be sharing a KWP Masters wedding, photographed by Stephanie! This was our first time shooting a Tavares Pavilion Lake wedding and we loved the mix of classic wedding day style with a nod to some family traditions!
Courtney and Michael actually met several years ago and they have been enjoying their time together with their sweet little (big) bulldog, Dexter! They’re very family oriented – working alongside Courtney and her parents, Michael recently taking on a job with the family business! He popped the question on December 15th in Central Park, NYC with wine and the ring hidden in a dental floss container in his luggage!
On their wedding day, they celebrated family with one of my favorite details – they had their grandparents wedding cake recreated! Their white buttercream and red rose cake was custom made since their wedding was also their grandparents wedding anniversary!
Courtney chose a dusty blue and white color combination for the bridesmaids, and accented her gown with lots of crystal jewelry, crystal encrusted shoes and a cathedral lace veil for her grand walk down the aisle.
Courtney and Michael spent their honeymoon in the snowy mountains of Colorado, enjoying warm drinks and cozy fires as newlyweds!
Update: Their wedding was featured on Modern Weddings Blog!

This was the exact replica of her grandparent’s wedding cake, which they cut at the reception (also their wedding anniversary!) How seriously cute is that!?
