May 22, 2010 | Palm Beach Gardens, FL | Mirasol Country Club
I was really excited about shooting the wedding of my dear friends, Stacie and John, down in Palm Beach Gardens, FL in May. They got married at the amazing Mirasol Country Club, supported by their friends and family! Not only was the venue absolutely gorgeous, but they definitely had one fun party weekend! We went down on Friday to cover their rehearsal dinner, and spent the entire day with them on Saturday for their wedding. They even had a great little breakfast for everyone visiting on Sunday morning.
There were so many great stories from their wedding, but I promised Stacie that I wouldn’t embarrass her on my blog! Actually, one of my favorite parts of their day was how they incorporated their families! John wore a pair of Stacie’s grandfather’s Christian Dior cuff links, and Stacie wore her grandfather’s wedding band during the ceremony.
Stacie’s dress was an incredible Paloma Blanca from The Collection in Winter Park! We were joined by Jeff Brown from Cinematique Films here in Orlando! I can’t wait to see their gorgeous video!

One of my favorites from their day….
And their gorgeous wedding slideshow!
Stacie’s bridesmaids all wore gorgeous Betsey Johnson shoes!
Instead of favors, Stacie and John made donations to breast cancer research. The bridesmaids all wore these bracelets to support the charity.
The bridesmaids also wore custom embroidered robes as a gift from Stacie
Stacie’s grandmother’s rings and her grandfather’s cuff links were just some of the amazing vintage details from their wedding
Stacie did a “first look” with her dad – who hadn’t seen her dress before. Lots of tears – but so sweet!
Stacie and John did a “First Look” as well!
It was a little less teary :)
I loved Stacie and John’s Us Album. Guests wrote little messages that Stacie and John will get to keep and cherish!
During the ceremony, John put Stacie’s grandfather’s wedding band on her finger (the same ring her parents used during their ceremony, too!)
Poor Jeff :) I made him give up his video camera to Stacie and John!
Their reception had a Tuscan theme – with centerpieces covered in artichoke and grapes! I loved their custom escort “cards” made from
rustic tile that guests could keep.
Stacie and John’s wedding was absolutely everything I had hoped it would be! We had such a wonderful time sharing the weekend with their friends and family, and just loved hearing all of the great stories after! Congratulations and I can’t wait to hear all about Antigua!
