Luxury Wedding in Montverde, FL
May 2, 2014 | Nicole and Robert
Nicole and Robert have an incredibly blessed story of their relationship and the journey that brought them together! While both were actively involved in their church, they met at a church camp in Michigan while leading worship! Robert, a Christian musician, said it was love at first sight… but Nicole needed a few days to realize Robert was the one for her! Ultimately, Robert persevered and won Nicole’s heart! After a year of dating long-distance, Nicole moved down to Florida to be closer to him. Whenever I talk to Nicole, she is so in love with Robert – but the one thing I love about her is how much she adores his family! They’re both very family-oriented and Nicole has said how much she appreciates Robert’s family and how much they’ve welcomed her into their lives!
Robert proposed while they were on a trip to London for a course at Oxford University. Robert proposed to Nicole on the London Eye – they had rented out the entire cabin for his family to join them. He bought a first edition Peter Pan novel and cut a little box in to the pages to hold her amazing engagement ring. I previously shared some photos of this super special book on their engagement post!
The Wedding Day
Nicole and Robert designed their Bella Collina wedding with family and friends in mind! Behind the creative vision was Event Designer Brandee Gaar and her amazing team at Blush! Almost 300 guests came to celebrate the beautiful union between them, and even a day-long rain couldn’t dampen their smiles! Every part of the day was completely meant to be – and they couldn’t have been more happy to be together with everyone and enjoy the evening!
I think I was most in love with Nicole’s bridal attire – everything was designed for her by the amazing ladies at Solutions Bridal. She absolutely sparkled in family heirloom jewelry to compliment her Kenneth Pool gown and the most unique garter from Arlynn Garters! I loved that she chose a Girl with a Serious Dream french lace robe to get ready in, too. Her veil was straight from the Rivini runway show – only a handful were ever made and it absolutely complimented her look!
But not to leave London too far behind, the bridal processional was the Downton Abbey theme song played by the Paul Vesco Orchestra! (I was giddy all day waiting for that! I’m such a Downton fangirl!)
We ended the evening with a private “last dance” and sparkler exit before they took off for their South Florida honeymoon! They are so full of love for each other – it absolutely radiates when you’re near them! All of our love and best wishes for a blessed future together!

I can’t even begin to tell you how much it rained – all day. Not like our normal “Florida” showers… but all day.
Nicole’s smile never dimmed even the tiniest bit. This picture below perfectly describes her genuine joy for her wedding day.
She was so blissfully happy. It was such an honor to be part of!
Tiniest bit of a joke about watch modeling. Thanks Robert ;)
Can I give a big shout out to Brandee’s entire team that day! Moving an outdoor ceremony to a ballroom to accommodate 300 people and an orchestra, then having only 45 minutes to flip the entire space for a seated dinner, dance floor, orchestra and all the details – we walked in for photos to an entirely transformed space and a lot of exhausted helpers! What a crazy amazing job they did! I honestly don’t know many other event planners that could handle this incredible task!
