Emily and Randolph | Sneak Peek
March 2, 2019 at Bok Tower, Lake Wales
Emily and Randolph had their wedding at Bok Tower after three and a half years of dating. They initially met in college when she was a sophomore and he was a senior but even though Randolph was graduating soon, they made it work with a 2 year long-distance relationship! Their wedding was filled with elegant and historic details!
Emily has dreamed of getting married at historic Bok Tower ever since she was a little girl. The venue holds such special meaning to her. The wedding itself was filled with family heirlooms – from a gold family ring given to her great, great, great grandmother from the California Gold Rush, to wearing her mother’s garter. But one of the most special details of the day was having music composed and played by the Bok Tower Carilloner and his apprentice!
We finished their photos with a perfect sunset overlooking Bok Tower from their reception venue. Later, guests were treated to a gourmet dinner and entertained by Jacksonville band, The Royals!
Emily and Rand had a vintage pickup truck for their departure and will be having a short mini-moon before their grand honeymoon in Italy later this year!
Vendor Spotlight
Raining Roses are one of my favorite florists to work with! Emily’s floral had the perfect shade of blue to match with her bridesmaid dresses with a hint of pastel peach. I’ve worked with Raining Roses for quite some time now and they always take it to the next level! One of my favorite stories about them is when they brought paper flowers made by hand from crepe paper sourced in Mexico for one of our styled shoots.
