Emily and Elliot “swiped right” before their Isleworth wedding! They incorporated a Jewish culture and tradition with a lakeside ceremony! They closed out the evening in the classic ballroom with stone columns and rich wood detailing!

Emily and Elliot are both super social and love being surrounded by friends and family. Their Isleworth wedding was nothing less than a beautiful celebration! But when they originally met it wasn’t love at first sight – I’ll let Emily tell you the story!
“We both swiped right! Well… that’s not the whole story. We actually met officially on a dating app but had a close mutual friend. We initially dated casually for just a month, but the timing wasn’t right. Fast forward 7 months later and 0 texts to one another, we both popped up on each other’s dating apps and decided to meet up at an FSU Alumni bar crawl. There was an instant connection and the rest is history.”
Timing and apparently dating apps are everything. Elliot popped the question about two years ago with an awkward picnic at Azalea Park leading up to the proposal. According to Emily, he’s not the most romantic person so planning a picnic kind of gave it away. But it worked – she still said yes! They went back to Emily’s house to share the news with her closest childhood friends and family.
Their engagement shoot included their sweet furchild, Winston. Although he couldn’t join them at the wedding, I’m sure he was celebrating with some naps and good-boy treats!
Their Isleworth Wedding
Emily and Eliot chose a palette with bright, bold pinks to complement their lakeside vows. Their chuppah was simply decorated with birchwood and fresh floral, and Emily walked down an aisle of rose petals. Their Ketubah was stunning – incorporating different hand-painted skylines! We finished the evening with the Hora and lots of amazing food and dancing in the Isleworth ballroom! They left for an incredible honeymoon to Asia, visiting Singapore and Thailand together for the first time!
I also wanted to include this little tidbit from Emily – I always ask my couples how they initially found me, and got the cutest answer:
“Our planner, Ali Watkins, recommended KWP to us based on our style and personality. We were initially so impressed with the KWP work product, but were so surprised when we spoke to Kristen. She’s so warm and hilarious. Elliot and I can be SO AWKWARD and we felt like we could be our authentic self with Kristen, so why wouldn’t we want her there to capture our special day!”
Ahhh my heart! I love this couple and can’t wait to see where the rest of their travels take them!
