They met in kindergarten. We met at her sister’s wedding in South Carolina. To say Brooke is loyal to those she loves would be an understatement.
Friends gathered at their wedding at Interlachen Country Club from every stage of their lives.
We celebrated their heartfelt nuptials together and danced the night away before a grand bubble exit!
Brooke chose soft shades of blush with pops of daisies, marigolds, orange and coral for her wedding colors. Troy chose his late father’s wedding band to wear, and it was a beautifully emotional ceremony when they exchanged rings.
I love that Brooke and Troy chose Interlachen Country Club for their wedding. After college, Brooke and Troy reconnected when Troy invited Brooke to play tennis to catch up. After that, tennis became a theme for their relationship – always playing at Interlachen, including to celebrate their one-year anniversary. Following that tennis match, Troy proposed on a bridge at sunset on the Interlachen golf course. So it only seemed fitting that they celebrate their marriage with all their friends and family at Interlachen as well!
Family connections
We also got to meet Shannon and Will’s new baby, Henry – who served as their 2-week old ring bearer! And Brooke and Shannon’s dad carried on the tradition of passing the baton to Troy – just as he did for Will! If you remember from Shannon and Will’s wedding, their dad did a harmonica song with the groomsmen for his own wedding to Shannon and Brooke’s mom – which he carried on at Shannon’s wedding. This time, he was joined on the piano by Troy to serenade Brooke!
We loved all of the family elements that Brooke and Troy chose – it was a full-circle moment for us! We were honored to join the Riley family again for another beautiful wedding, and it was truly special to meet Troy’s family this time around!
