A soft palette of blush and ivory with some traditional Vietnamese flair was on the menu for this multicultural wedding at the Orlando Museum of Art!
Kim & Josh | Sneak Peek
January 19, 2020 at Orlando Museum of Art
Kim and Josh originally met at dental school at UF, becoming fast friends over their love of seafood and fishing! After graduation, Kim moved back to Orlando and Josh stayed up in Gainesville, both practicing dentistry. When Josh’s sister had a toothache, he reached out to some friends to track down Kim for help! But my favorite part of this story is how Kim finished telling it, “FYI – I still havenโt seen his sister for the โtoothacheโ! LOL!”
So toothaches aside, this active couple loves hiking, soccer games and traveling to new places! Their proposal story includes many of those details – where Josh proposed at the Sintra National Palace in Portugal!
An Orlando Vietnamese Wedding
For their wedding day, Kim and Josh (and about 250 of their closest friends and family) joined them at the Orlando Museum of Art! Combining a soft palette of blush and white with the modern design, gold accents and contemporary details, the venue was the perfect spot for them to get married!
Following their ceremony, guests dined on a multi-course traditional Vietnamese dinner served family style! They danced, drank and celebrated Kim and Josh all throughout the night! At the end of the reception, they had a grand exit with, what I can only describe as “really cool light balls”!
When we asked about their honeymoon plans, although they’re still deciding, it’s a strong possibility they’ll be touring Europe to take in some soccer games!
