You may recognize Caroline and Paul from their wedding at Capen House from last year! Stephanie shot their wedding last year, and they reached out to us again because they are expecting!!! I was so excited that I had the chance to go do their maternity session with them.
We spent the evening at Casa Feliz, with their sweet dog Rusty.
It was especially important to get to photograph their session with Rusty, as he was battling illness.
Sadly, sweet Rusty crossed the Rainbow Bridge in December. I am so incredibly glad that I got to meet him and include him in this beautiful session.
As Caroline and Paul prepare to meet their new human, they also decided to honor Rusty by adopting another Rottie – a puppy that I can’t wait to meet. Although I’m sure nothing can replace Rusty, they knew they wanted to continue their love for rescued Rottweilers and enjoy the chaos of a newborn and a puppy!
