Matt and Lauren have been talking about their wedding day since they started dating over seven years ago. Their love was strong from the very beginning and we could see that from a mile away on their wedding day too! Lauren grew up in Winter Park so when Matt proposed she was eager to start planning their Alfond Inn wedding!
The Details
The Alfond Inn is a dream within itself. With modern art, contemporary decor, and exceptional service Lauren knew it would be the perfect venue for the big day! Their details were the perfect blend of modern, minimal, and classic. Black and white details along with gold accents were spread throughout the day.
First Look
As the raindrops hit Lauren’s window, there was no care in the world other than marrying the man of her dreams. They are completely in love with each other and not even the rain could stop them from having fun! Their vibes were simultaneous and guests definitely matched their energy!
Lauren and Matt really enjoyed the photo process, as photographers, we love that! We did their first look in the atrium but first, they exchanged vows. Their private moment was just a glimpse of how strong their love is. They were like magnets, constantly laughing, flirting, and glued at the hips for the entire night!
Lauren’s style was sleek, fun, and a little flirty! She
Ketubah & Ceremony
We have photographed a ton of Jewish weddings! If you are unfamiliar with the traditions, the couple, their witnesses, and their Rabbi will gather for the Ketubah signing before the ceremony. After the signing, the couple had a meaningful liturgy under a beautiful fabric chuppah and concluded the ceremony with the Jewish tradition of breaking the glass.
Reception Details and Cocktail Hour
Candles are lit, and by this point, the guests are too! Their details were not overlooked with orchids and roses beautifully displayed along the black linen tables. Their three-layered cake by Morgan Hunter Desserts was sleek, mimicking the simplicity of Lauren’s dress. It had a touch of romance with a long, black silk ribbon tied around the top layer. The catering team putting the last touches together pouring champagne in preparation for guests!
Dancing
This Alfond Inn wedding did not disappoint, but when do they ever! Lauren and Matt woke up ready to party! The Jewish traditions continued on through the reception with the hora or the chair dance! Now, the party really began! Lauren, Matt, and their guests were having the time of their lives celebrating the love of two incredible people. Their energy was brighter than this day could have ever been. Towards the end of the reception, Lauren changed into a cute pearly mini dress for their exit. Of course, we had to sneak some elevator pics too!
