Blush Wedding at The Vinoy

Brandon met Caroline while she was wearing a sparkly tiara and dressed as a princess. The sequined outfit ended up working out in her favor because Brandon was hooked! To this day, Brandon still has the tiara that Caroline wore the night they met, and they’ve carried out their fairytale relationship! When it came time for the proposal, the couple headed down to Caroline’s hometown of the stunning St. Petersburg, Florida. In an absolutely traditional manner, Brandon asked Caroline’s father’s blessing in asking his daughter to marry him. The couple, along with a few family members and close friends, went back to Caroline’s family house. Brandon convinced Caroline to meet him out on the dock in the backyard overlooking the water. Just as the sun was setting, Brandon got down on one knee and asked her to marry him! Caroline mentioned that she absolutely adored the way Brandon had asked her asked, because it gave them a chance to have a personal moment, while having so many important people around afterwards to celebrate!

The two families came together during a traditional Catholic ceremony at the gorgeous St. Mary our Lady of Grace in St. Petersburg. From there, we all took the most adorable little trolley over to The Vinoy, a super cute pink resort. The reception decor was seriously to die for. Lush floral centerpieces caught the attention of every one in the room and we just couldn’t get enough of the bride’s choice in desserts and the groom’s choice in assorted candy.  The floral backings on the bride and grooms chair were delicate and beautiful, along with their four tier cake with blush roses. At the end of the night, Brandon and Caroline chose to do a surprise A&W root beer toast. This was to celebrate the union of the Anderson and Whelan families, how cute?!
