A Custom Garden LGBT Wedding in Orlando at The Ritz-Carlton

Dayton and Ross dreamed up nearly every detail of their day themselves, and you can see it in each photo. Their LGBT wedding in Orlando took place outdoors at The Ritz-Carlton Orlando, Grande Lakes, surrounded by the people they love most. Rae Nicole Events brought their vision to life, so the whole day felt elegant and completely personal. From the first look to the last firework, I loved every minute.

First, let’s talk about color, because these two had a plan. Dayton and Ross created their own palette of navy, cream, dusty blue and mocha. They even designed their stationery. Then they shared their exact Pantone mixes, and the team painted the escort card display, the bars and the swag wall to match. Rich browns, tan and natural wood tones also warmed up the space. As a result, everything felt earthy, comfortable and polished all at once.

The day started with a sweet first look, and the grooms swapped gifts before the ceremony. Their navy and cream suits fit the palette perfectly. Next, the groomsmaids and groomsmen stepped out in sky blue. My favorite detail, though, was the flower girls. Instead of little ones, their grandmothers walked the aisle in navy dresses! Honestly, it was one of the sweetest moments I’ve seen at an LGBT wedding in Orlando. Cream and blue hydrangeas lined the outdoor ceremony, while white roses softened every corner. After the vows, the grooms shared a kiss at the end of the aisle as everyone cheered.

Cocktail hour had a vintage telephone booth and a coffee cart, so guests had plenty to explore. Later, everyone moved to the lawn. Rae worked closely with The Floral Way and the grooms on this space, and it was stunning. The Floral Way also filled each table with soft hydrangeas and roses. A fully custom bar showed off portraits of their dogs enjoying the signature cocktails. Half-moon tables with banquet seating framed a blue and white checkered dance floor. Meanwhile, lamps and candlelight glowed on every table long after sunset.

Then came my favorite surprise of the night: a custom swag wall! Guests picked out shirts and totes as favors, which was a first for me. The grooms also shared a dance with their moms, and the blue and white cake had pretty gold accents. Finally, fireworks lit up the sky to close out the night.
