I was fairly certain I would love Jamie and Brian from my first meeting with them before they even booked with me! They had this perfectly “we just want everything to be relaxed and fun” attitude – so I knew their wedding would be the perfect reflection of their plans!
Jamie and Brian met at work about 9 years ago, and although Jamie originally had strict rules about dating in the workplace – Brian eventually worked his charms on her and she gave in :) After dating for about 4 years, Brian proposed while on a mini-vacation down in South Beach. As Jamie puts it, it was simple and perfect, and she couldn’t have asked for anything better.
Spending the day with Jamie and Brian’s family was especially fun for Alyssa and I. We loved meeting Brian’s 3 daughters – they were such an important part of the day for Brian and Jamie and I loved how they were included in the largest sand ceremony ever! And the FOOD. Oh my gosh, the food! Arthur’s did an AMAZING job feeding their guests with some of the most amazing treats we’ve ever had! And I loved the addition of mini-ice-cream cones while the cake was served! Such an awesome and creative addition to a standard wedding event!
Jamie and Brian planned out every pink and gray detail, from the specialty J&B custom logo to the little folded paper games, fans and menus. Everything looked classic, elegant and fuss-free! And although the ceremony was probably the hottest we’ve ever shot, as soon as the sun set, Casa Feliz lit up the reception with gorgeous hanging lights and a cool breeze!

I fell in love with Jamie and Brian’s paper details! Their custom designed logo really tied everything together!
Luisa and Marla did another bang-up job on the girl’s hair and makeup! I can’t get over how stunning they make everyone look :)
I think this was where I really started getting the different personalities of Brian’s daughters.
I thought I had the twins all figured out until they changed clothes and I had to start all over again! :)
One of my favorite First Look’s to shoot! Brian and Jamie were so excited to see each other for the first time, and Jamie has the most contagious laugh.
I was literally giggling right along with her behind the camera!
Let’s have a chat for a minute about getting married in June, in Florida, on a brick patio with no shade.
Oven much? Brian couldn’t stop laughing… and sweating…
I absolutely adored how Brian and Jamie included his daughters in to the sand ceremony. It was a really sweet moment for everyone.
Why not make your escort cards do double-duty as a favor, too? Brilliant!
And nice touch, no child gets left behind!
Their reception was held at the back of Casa Feliz. Once the sun set, it was beautifully lit and nice and cool!
Brian’s groom cake was a throwback to his days on the force, where he “claims” he was known as Superman :)
Nothing needs to be said about the next few photos. Arthur’s seriously did some major food-damage. It was sooooo good!
Huge thanks to the guys at Soundwave for giving us some amazing music to dance to for the rest of the night! We had so much fun photographing the guests!
Cutting the Groom Cake was a family affair!
