Stephanie had the honor of photographing Corey and Bryan’s Hammock Beach Resort wedding back in October! I love getting all the details on how my couples meet!
We get some pretty crazy stories sometimes and other times it’s as simple as meeting at a night of trivia! Corey was in her first year of law school when one of her friends, Alisa, was taking her very last exam! They decided to let loose and have a little fun. I don’t drink but I would be celebrating too, that’s a huge accomplishment! Alisa had another friend, David, who just took his last exam too so they agreed to go to trivia before getting the real party started. Bryan was at trivia and they have been together ever since!
Little did they know both Alisa and Corey would be creating memories with their future hubbies! Yup, Alisa is now married to David!
Ever since trivia night Corey and Bryan have been inseparable. Bryan knew he did not want to lose out on such a beautiful and smart woman. While they were in Sonoma, California with Corey’s family they went on a guided wine tour. On their last spot the tour guide took them to a “picnic area” with a beautiful backdrop! I think you all know what’s coming…He proposed!
As they started planning their wedding they found us through the Hammock Beach Resort vendor list! Corey said she fell in love with our photos and noticed we shot one of her family friends wedding! As soon as we connected Stephanie and Corey they hit it off! It’s such a great feeling when we feel so close to our couples.
They had gold accents to compliment the shimmery champagne bridesmaids dresses. The groomsmen were styling in cobalt suits from Jos. A. Bank. Corey and Bryan’s wedding turned out beautiful and they were so happy to be surrounded by their loved ones. After a night of celebrating their love at Hammock Beach Resort the two of them prepped for their Thailand honeymoon!
