Happy Anniversary to Megan and Aaron! Today marks six years married! Believe it or not their love started as a childhood crush and turned into a lifetime of love.
Let’s start by sharing some of their gorgeous engagement session on the water in St. Pete, and with their pup, Georgia!
Their wedding was filled with lace and a navy and hot pink color palette. They had a shiny blue ’65 Mustang with coke cans tied on the back of it as their getaway car. So, if you were like me driving behind them, you had to dodge flying coke-cans the whole way back to the Vinoy (lol)!

Don Cesar Maternity Session in St. Petersburg
Megan was so close to having Ryder when we took these photos! I made her promise she wouldn’t go into labor when we were shooting. It would have made for a fun story, though!
Baby Number One!
Ryder is born! We did an in-home newborn session to welcome Ryder. Megan and Aaron are very outdoorsy people so they incorporated the outdoors in Ryder’s room – so cute! Their dog, Georgia, also got a little love and snuggled up to her new human brother!
Baby Number 2: Eli!
After our “she’s practically in labor” drama with the maternity session for Ryder, we decided to schedule Megan’s next maternity session super early in her pregnancy. But about a week before the shoot, I get a text from Aaron that Megan’s in the hospital – but everything is fine. I made him promise not to have that baby until after our maternity session. I wake up the next morning to news that Baby Eli had arrived (at 24 weeks)! Several weeks later, we photographed their “maternity” session in the NICU instead!
When I grow up…
So where are they now?
One of my favorite couples, now family, met up with me in December for our Holiday Minis! It was so great seeing the boys again – they’re growing up in to such wonderful boys! Megan and Aaron have not disappointed in their stellar parenting skills, and aside from Eli always giving me a stink-face, they’ll always be a fave KWP family!
