Solutions Bridal Real Woman shoot

The second annual Solutions Bridal Real Woman shoot was at the beginning of April, and I was thrilled to be asked to photograph these gorgeous, talented bloggers! The concept is awesome – some of the top bloggers in the area were asked to join us for a day of pampering! They worked with the stylists at Solutions to create their own unique bridal style, and then we photographed them in a way that celebrates their individual looks!

For the photographers out there, I used a simple 3-light setup for these shots. My key light was a large octobox set to my high right, with a fill light (rectangle softbox) set to my left. I had one tall stripbox for a hair light to the high right of the model. I shot the images on a soft gray/white background and did all the flower-work compositing in photoshop.

Camera settings: Nikon D5 with my 58mm 1.4. Shot at f/6.3 and 1/160 for most images.

We started out our shoot with Ashley Nicholas who wore Symphony by Suzanne Neville! Ashley’s blogger style is pretty and preppy, so this gown was the perfect choice for her! Simone finished the look with with a pop of teal eyeliner to give her that last little hint of spunk!

Missy Damon, the face behind Pop of Style, wore Margauex by Ines di Santo! Missy has a classic, yet modern style, which is why this sleeveless lace gown was absoluely perfect for her. Adding multiple accessories adds a bit of glam to Missy’s look and we love the pop of red lipstick!

Missy’s blog has a little some thing for everyone. It includes a variety of articles such as date night ideas, outfit inspiration, and even fun holiday drink recipes!

The girl slaying this absolutely amazing hair piece is Abigail Petit, who chose to wear 44E10 by Osca De La Renta. The House of DVF reality star is currently working on her own brand of clothing, so it’s no surprise she chose this absolutely stunning gown.

Shannon Jenkins is loving florals right now, so it’s no surprise she wore the rose embroidered JH8500 Jim Hjelm by Hayley Paige! We’re kind of obsessing over the color of this gown, which makes it it a little more on the girly side. Wish simple jewelry and  just a pair of elegant earrings, this wedding day outfit is perfect!

Shannon’s blog has every thing a “budget friendly” fashion lover could ask for!

Kristie Cohen looked absolutely stunning in Morning by Ines Di Santo. This dramatic paneled skirt is almost too amazing to handle! I love that her up-do paired with this Silk Gazar gown. Kristie loves sharing her personal style and is constantly feeling inspired by fashion around her.

Kristie’s blog is dedicated to her grandmother, Marge, who taught her that, “everyday is a special occasion and you should dress for the life you want!”

Tonya Walker does not disappoint in this Heather by Suzanne Neville lace gown. The lace bodice with off the shoulder detailing looks so beautiful on Tonya, and adds the perfect amount of elegance. I am also loving this A line skirt made from silk organza!

Dedicated to fashion and shoes, Tonya knows her way around fashion. Tonya is not only fashionable, but also incredibly inspiring. She was diagnosed with young onset Parkinson’s disease, but now thinks of her blog as a way of celebrating her ability to be able to balance in heels again.

I’m still obsessing over Ananda Saba Patel‘s wedding day, but I’m absolutely in love with this Fontanne by Ines Di Santo gown. I’m loving her old Hollywood waves paired with this glam dress covered in scattered crystals. This dramatic ball gown is a sure jaw-dropper!

Stephanie Ziajka chose the ivory and nude silk Zaina gown by Ines Di Santo. Her low bun hairstyle keeps the attention on the amazing details of this gown. The back of this gown’s delicate lace is absolutely stunning!

Maria is wearing Cherish, by Suzanne Neville, and the hand beaded tulle straps are absolutely to die for! Maria expressed that she is a girl who is typically drawn to a more structured gown, but that this dress was just too elegant and classic not to wear! Also, we’re loving the bouquet by In Bloom Florist!

Be sure to check out Maria’s blog, and read about her experience at the second annual ‪#‎SBRealWoman‬ shoot!
