Happy Valentine’s Day! I’m celebrating with the most adorable engagement session full of fashion, pink and heels!
First of all, Jana is the first girl I’ve known to bring custom Louboutins, signed by Christian Louboutin himself, and then tromp around in a field playing croquet in them.
This is a girl after my own heart! And as if that isn’t enough, she’s also the brains behind Haute Fan Couture – making gorgeous game-day dresses for the ultimate football-loving fashionista :) (seriously, if you love tailgating, football and just generally looking stylish – go check out her site!)
Her motto says it all: It’s not whether you win or lose, but how CUTE you look during the game!
Kyle is a 2LT in the army and actually met Jana after college (even though both went to FSU they didn’t connect until after they had graduated). But I’ll be saving their story for their wedding post, because it’s super sweet! They’re getting married in Jacksonville Beach in just a few months!
Back to their engagement session – we had to plan during one of the few times Kyle was on leave from the Army. Since he’s stationed out of state, it definitely made planning difficult! But just like everything else in Kyle and Jana’s relationship – fate stepped in and gave us beautiful weather, not a drop of rain and a fun afternoon learning how to play croquet!
Oh, and for the record, by the croquet rules we made up – Jana won.
