Groovy Groomsmen Gifts
We were initially a bit overwhelmed at the options on the Groovy Groomsmen Gifts website! But I went on a hunt to find a gift that could be personalized and fun. Although it’s a no-brainer to select a gift for the guys in your wedding party, I loved the idea of using the gift for a Father of the Bride! When I found this caricature beer stein (dying over the fact that it’s called the MineStein), I couldn’t wait to get my dad’s face plastered on it (seriously, I was so excited about this!).
I found a photo of him on Facebook (with my pretty mama) and sent it with my order request. I got the caricature 4 days later and it was perfect! So I gave the approval to start on the mug! They also asked me for what wording I’d like under his photo. I chose “Father of the Bride” – but I think it would be fun to use nicknames if you’re doing this for groomsmen!
Then, I was also emailed the digital file of my caricature and they allow you to use that however you’d like!
I physically had the mug in my hands approximately 2 weeks after my approval! They say to allow 30 days, but I found the process to be quick and easy. Overall, start to finish was a super quick process for a customized piece!
Reviewing the product was pretty simple beyond that! I was very impressed with the quality of the stein. It has a gold plated rim, and it’s a heavy ceramic material with etching (don’t quote me on that – I have no experience with manufacturing, but it’s like mug-quality!)
Those are a few shots from my mug, but I’m also loving some of their product photos from the website! Some have nicknames, different drinks, hats – and my personal favorite – costumes!
They actually have other options for the caricature – like mugs (Mug on a Mug), flasks (Man in the Iron Flask) and frosty mugs (Frost in Translation)!

Bridesmaid Gifts Boutique
Let’s switch from the men to the women! A new division of their company is a female-focused online gift boutique called Bridesmaids Gifts Boutique. Although I’ve reviewed products from Groovy Guy before, it was new for me to look through the bridesmaid shop!
I’m immediately pulled towards weekender tote bags – especially anything that can be personalized! I chose this adorable Jet Set Weekender monogrammed tote bag! Besides the striped lining (that I’m obsessed with), it includes faux leather handles, canvas shoulder strap, zippered pockets and free personalization.
Gabby and Makayla photographed it below with options for making it a bridesmaid gift! You could even turn it in to a “Will you be my bridesmaid” gift, and include a cute tumbler, pajamas, dancing shoes and leather journal! You could even add a floral monogrammed yoga mat!
Before I get in to our photos of the tote, I’d like to point out some really unique gifts! If you liked the caricature idea from Groovy Guys, they also have that option for the girls! You can choose a variety of products to put it on, too – like a stemless wine glass, mug and tumbler!
We’re also putting the tote to our “wear test” and the girls will be carrying it around for a bit to see how it handles our crazy travel schedules! I’ll be sure to update this post with our findings – but we wanted to give it longer than a few weeks to get a real feel for the quality! But on first impression, we’re really loving it!
