Let’s start with a little back story of the couple from this gorgeous hammock beach wedding. After meeting at an after-school program as camp counselors, Jenny and Kyle became best friends when they were grouped together. They had significant others at the time but after two years, “the stars aligned” as Jenny put it. Kyle asked her out on a date and they have been together ever since!
Jenny and Kyle booked a vacation to Punta Cana in late April last year. They had been dating for almost seven years so Jenny suspected a proposal was going to happen, even though Kyle assured her that he wasn’t going to do it on vacation. On the 3rd night there, they were heading to their dinner reservation. On their way to the restaurant, there was a a private dinner on the beach for just the two of them! At this point Jenny knew exactly what was going on, they made their way over to the table where Kyle popped the question!
A tropical hammock beach wedding was only fit after a proposal like that! Their color scheme was different shades of pink and then pops of baby blue with the bridesmaid dresses and groomsmen bowties! They got married on their eighth anniversary at Hammock Beach resort, surrounded by all of their favorite people. Overall, this wedding was one giant, tropical party.
