This Florida-garden-party-inspired brunch wedding gave us all of the springtime vibes with a navy, french blue, and sage color scheme. Caroline and Paul put together some unique details for their guests – like an Oyster bar and boat-launch departure!

Caroline and Paul live in Washington D.C. but decided to do a destination wedding in Florida! Caroline’s Grandmother designed the invitations for the wedding herself, and we were so impressed with how beautiful and creative they were! Their invitations truly set the tone for the day – bringing in old-Florida classic style for their brunch wedding!
A Lakeside Brunch Wedding
After an intimate ceremony at the First Presbyterian Church of Orlando, this couple and all of their closest friends and family headed over to The Capen House for a lakeside reception to celebrate! The afternoon was a perfect mix of relaxed and upbeat. Everyone enjoyed sipping on some beverages and enjoying some great food from Arthur’s catering. They even had Oyster Bob there to shuck some fresh oysters and shrimp for everyone- which was a huge hit. The couple went with a naked cake with fresh fruit on it, which just added to the light and airy mood mood of the day. After a quick outfit change, the couple made their way to a pontoon boat waiting for them to make their “Just Married” exit on the lake!
The celebration didn’t end after the reception was over though, the couple also rented out The Porch in Winter Park for an after party.
After such a beautiful wedding day, now Caroline and Paul get to look forward to their honeymoon in August! The couple will be heading to Africa! They plan to start in Botswana, Zambia to see Victoria Falls then making their way to South Africa for two weeks full of safari and adventure.
