Oviedo maternity session at Riverside Park with Kelly and Brian
I met with Kelly and Brian for their Oviedo maternity session in the very spot we shot their engagement session 5 years ago! They are welcoming their second baby, a little girl, to their growing family!
Oh my heart. Kelly and Brian have a special place in the KWP family, and my own family! From the day I met them, I fell in love with their adventurous spirit and love for each other. After working with them on several sessions, they moved to Kansas while Kelly pursued her career. So unfortunately, I missed the birth of their first son, Colin. Colin was welcomed to the world and was diagnosed with Angelman Syndrome and Albinism. So they have had their hands full and turned in to advocates for these rare diseases! When I found out they were pregnant, with a daughter this time, AND moving back to Orlando – I was super excited! Not only would I get to meet Colin, but I’d finally get to celebrate their growing family with them!
So first of all, Colin is fabulous. I’ve been following him on Instagram (@adventuringbear), but to finally meet this little bean was so exciting! I’m so thankful for all the KWP families that continue to ask me to be part of their journeys. This maternity session was especially sweet because we decided to go back to where it all began – the very spot we shot their engagement session 5 years ago!
Madeline Jo was born on April 23rd and Colin has been an amazing big brother. Now, I can’t wait to meet her and see this beautiful family continue to grow, learn and love with each other!
