Persian Wedding in St. Pete, FL
March 17, 2012ย | Baharea and Eric
I just oo’d and aw’d over every single detail at Baharea and Eric’s wedding – and that was before we even step foot inside their amazing reception space! First of all, the Vinoy in St. Pete offered the most gorgeous backdrop for their event. From the lobby to the ceremony space – every corner we turned provided a new inspiration for us! Baharea’s details were stunning – lots of soft ivory’s and just the right touch of sparkle. It fit perfectly with their Navy and Pink color palette.
What made this wedding particularly special was that Baharea is the cousin of Alyssa’s fiance, Arash! And Arash’s twin sister, Afsaneh, was Baharea’s maid of honor. So as much as it pains me to shoot without Alyssa, she was a guest at their wedding! Baharea and Eric had a Persian wedding ceremony, complete with a beautiful Sofreh adorned with pomegranates, nuts, flowers and candles.

I was also thrilled to work with Barb from Artistry Designs Group again! I always adore seeing their amazing flowers and amazing reception spaces. You’ll die over this one… it was perfect!

A huge thanks to Leah Langley for jumping in and second shooting their wedding with me! It was hard not having Alyssa by my side, but Leah did an amazing job and we all loved working with her! Thank you so much!
Baharea has the most stunning blue eyes!
Their St. Patrick’s day wedding was mildly celebrated with an Irish clover on the groomsmen’s socks
Obsessed with how gorgeous Baharea looked. Radiant beyond belief.
The Persian Sofreh for the ceremony
I had to throw in this shot of Baharea’s family since Alyssa and Arash finally make an appearance :)
Now on to the reception… how breathtaking is this room!? I LOVE uplighting and flowers!
March 17th is also special because it’s Baharea’s mom’s birthday! Baharea, who is a phenom of a singer,
belted out the perfect Happy Birthday song, finished off by a beautiful birthday cake!
One of those moments where I wish I shot video. After the cake-cutting, Eric gave a beautiful speech about his new wife,
and how difficult it was for her to change her lyrical name (Baharea Saffary).
So he produced a song for her where the lyrics said Baharea Larsen. Everyone just loved it and lots of crazy dancing ensued.
The band. I’m STILL talking about this band. I’m telling you – if you want an AMAZING band –
you have to hire them! They came down from GA and seriously put it down like no one’s business!
Although Eric was flagged as the master air-guitarist, Baharea showed him up…
just a little….
