Forget-Me-Not Elegance
As a duo full of love and joy, it isn’t surprising that Elizabeth and Jack’s Winter Park wedding was such a beautiful affair. With Elizabeth’s adventurous spirit and Jack’s positive nature, they make a perfect power couple. Although they love hanging out with their Labradoodle, Stella, and visiting ice cream shops, they took the time to hold a celebration for themselves, their friends, and their family. As Jack put it, “I’m excited to see our families meet and interact together. Events and groups like this only happen once in a lifetime.” Their wedding was an event to go down in the books. The beautiful pastel blues and purples were perfectly coordinated throughout the event, reflected in the bridesmaids’ dresses, floral arrangements, tables, and even Elizabeth’s earrings. Happily married in the sunshine of Orlando, Florida, surrounded by family and friends, it was a reflection of the life they are creating together. Afterwards, they planned a relaxing honeymoon on the sunny beaches of Mexico.
All Elizabeth and Jack had hoped for was embodied in this event, bringing together all the details into the celebration they had dreamed of—classic, elegant, joyful, and full of family.

Crisp white highlights and blue floral details brought this event to life. The floral arrangements by Fairbanks Florist were perfect—sweet, simple, and to the point. Stationery from Dogwood Blossom Stationery Studio added a personal touch, with pastel blues blending seamlessly into the event’s atmosphere. It was an affair as cheerful and sweet as Jack and Elizabeth had imagined.
Bridal Style
Elizabeth’s bridal style was sweet, simple, and glowing. With hair and makeup by Patricia Lejeune of Lejeune Artistry and a breathtaking dress from one of Georgia’s finest bridal salons, Anne Barge, she stole the show with her radiant smile. Some of the most memorable details included the elegant décor, like the white and silver balloons adorning the bridal suite, and the excited smiles of the bridesmaids as they got ready and prepared for the big day.
Bridesmaids
The bridesmaids were the perfect support system to Elizabeth throughout her day. Each wore a dress as simple and classic as the bride’s and held a matching bouquet styled by Fairbanks Florist. Numbering eleven in all, they made for a perfect group.
It was safe to say Elizabeth had all her best friends with her on this special day. The youngest, still in her early teens, smiled just as brightly as the rest. Matching pearl earrings and delicate silver bracelets added an elegant touch as they stood beside the bride, creating a sense of joy and companionship.
Throughout the day, they were always by Elizabeth’s side—adjusting her veil, sharing laughter, and offering quiet words of encouragement before the ceremony began.
The Alfond Inn
The Alfond Inn is a true oasis in the heart of busy Orlando, nestled along the main street of elegant Winter Park. This boutique hotel is renowned for its exceptional service and thoughtful details, and for Elizabeth and Jack’s wedding, they went above and beyond. With a stunning conservatory, picturesque photography spots, and a spacious reception room just steps from the ceremony venue, the Alfond Inn was the perfect setting for such an elegant event. Plus, guests had plenty to explore within walking distance—sprawling parks, stylish boutiques, and a vibrant slice of Orlando’s restaurant scene were all just a short stroll away.
The ceremony took place at First Presbyterian Church in Winter Park, a timeless choice for couples. With its breathtaking architecture, rich history, and dedicated staff, the church has long been a standout venue for weddings.
Steady Love
Elizabeth and Jack share a bond built on respect and trust. They met in the summer of 2018 when Jack was working as the Intern Coordinator at Elizabeth’s summer job, and their connection was instant. However, they took their time, filling their days with laughter and conversations about anything and everything. Before long, the summer came to an end, and they had their first official date. They met at Elizabeth’s favorite ice cream shop and talked for hours. By the time the night was over, it was clear there was a mutual spark. Just a few weeks later, they made their relationship official.
The proposal came as a sweet surprise to Elizabeth. She thought she was attending a friend’s bridal shower at the Atlanta Battery and even brought a gift. She had no idea the party was actually for her. It wasn’t until she walked in and saw Jack waiting inside that she realized what was happening. She’d never smiled so big. He led her to the Battery’s giant Christmas tree and asked her to spend the rest of her life with him.
Elizabeth later confessed that she had never made an easier decision—it was a resounding yes. She had always pictured spending the rest of their lives together. Now, whether it’s tackling everyday chores or fulfilling their dream of traveling the country, Elizabeth and Jack know everything will always be better together. As Jack puts it, “We’ve been from coast to coast, but a trip to our favorite restaurant is just as exciting as an adventure to Alaska- as long as it’s with Elizabeth.”
Something Blue Details
The Alfond Inn’s reception room was a dream. Chandeliers cast a warm glow over a stage set for live music. The tables, chairs, and dance floor matched in delicate pastel purple, enhancing the elegant atmosphere. A crisp white cake from the renowned Sugar Sugar Bakery stood at the center, its simplicity perfectly complementing the reception room’s elegant design. Behind it all was Michele Butler Events, led by Sarah Parkinson, ensuring that every element blended seamlessly and that Jack and Elizabeth could enjoy their perfect day without stress.

Reception
The reception was an affair to remember, with guests laughing and dancing to the joint performance of three local Orlando Music productions; The Buzzcatz Band, Soundwave DJ, and Beautiful Music. They made the evening an energetic party, with guests drinking and dancing in the ambiance created by FyerFly Productions’ lighting. Candlelit details flickered on every table, but Fairbanks Florist truly brought the event to life. Her pastel purple arrangements on every table and roses hanging from the ceiling only increased the beauty of this amazing event.
