Caitlin and Christopher’s wedding was truly the embodiment of class and elegance paired with a modern twist. From the more traditional elements of their ceremony at Christ the King Catholic Church to the vibrant atmosphere at the Tampa Yacht & Country Club, their wedding day was truly a perfect beginning to their lovely story.
Tampa Waterside – A Coastal Inspiration
As we followed the couple leading up to the actual ceremony, it was apparent why they fit so effortlessly together. There was a sort of magnetism between them that made you want to sit for hours on end and talk about whatever came to mind, as if they were old friends. Beyond their sweet deposition, we were able to witness intimate moments often overlooked from the outside eye. From the comforting silence as they prepared for the actual event to the unity felt within the bridal party, these details made us remember why we enjoy capturing these events.
With such an endearing start to this day, it was no surprise that the ceremony would follow suite. As we waited alongside the guests for the bride’s arrival, the subtle details placed throughout the venue helped us better understand the couple both as individuals and an united front. The simple floral bouquets reflected an unwavering foundation of their relationship, while the surprise visit of a bagpipe player brought a touch of spontaneity and background to their dynamic.
As the night transitioned to the reception, it a shift in atmosphere. Instead of the once more traditional elements inside the chapel, the reception brought forth a more preppy, exuberant setting. Nonetheless, developing a sense of charm in itself. The rest of the evening was filled with lively dancing, breathtaking waterfront portraits, and even a surprise appearance of their dog, making their wedding day truly unforgettable.
