Bridget and John’s love story unfolded with serendipity, humor, and adventures in beautiful locations. I had the privilege of capturing the incredible moments of their wedding day at Isleworth Country Club. It was a day filled with love, laughter, and the union of two incredible families. Bridget…how do I explain Bridget? She is the most vibrant, spirited bride, and she shares a unique connection with her family. She brings smiles and heartwarming feelings to every person she comes in contact with, and I’m not exaggerating! Bridget is adopted, but her parents have always kept her close to her birth family. Bridget’s biological little sister was her maid of honor, and her biological brother was also in the wedding party. They both share their own special bond with Bridget. John also included his family in the wedding party, with his younger brother serving as his best man.
Bridget and John initially met at a friend’s birthday party in 2017 but lost touch after their first date. Fast forward to 2020, they had their “2nd 1st Date” and have been inseparable ever since. Bridget’s energetic spirit and John’s grounding force, a balance of playfulness and patience is the perfect blend for a happy ending. As Bridget puts it, “He is the calm to the storm (It’s me, I’m the storm. LOL).”
They define themselves as adventurous souls who love embracing new experiences. John is the planner in the relationship, but Bridget’s spontaneity adds a touch of unpredictability to their adventures. They share a passion for hiking, outdoor activities, and exploring nature. Their love for food and travel is boundless, and they enjoy trying new restaurants and cuisines wherever they go. One of their shared interests is comedy, which they bonded over during their early dating days. Sitting on the floor of John’s unfurnished home, indulging in pizza and wings while watching stand-up comedy, was the recipe for many unforgettable moments.
Jetty Park Engagement
Now, this wasn’t my first time meeting Bridget and John. I first got the pleasure of shooting their engagement session at Jetty Park where we laughed about monster feet and bonded over a seaside dinner! Their excitement for their wedding day was palpable even then! For Bridget, the joy of having everyone she loves, from all stages of life, gathered to celebrate their love is something she is truly grateful for. And, of course, there’s the reception, where they danced the night away with the ones they hold dear. The couple and their crew were looking dapper in their fancy fits! Every detail of their attire was carefully chosen to reflect the essence of their love and individuality. Bridget herself looked absolutely radiant in her Ines di Santo wedding dress from The Bridal Finery.
