Christine and Daniel’s Vietnamese wedding was filled with love, tradition, and unforgettable moments. As an Orlando photographer, I’ve had the privilege of capturing countless love stories, but there are unique attributes to each couple. Christine and Daniel’s wedding was a celebration of their love and the coming together of two beautiful families. They first met in their early teens at a retreat for confirmation they both attended. It was during this retreat that Dan first noticed Christine and their love story began to unfold. To add an extra touch of cultural richness to the day, they decided to hire a Vietnamese MC. They wanted to be sure to make a personal connection with each guest and, of course, take pictures with them. The MC would play music while the newlyweds greeted the guests at each table.
I feel like this tradition makes guests feel seen and important!
A Wardrobe Change for the Bride
We love a good wardrobe change! Christine was a vision of beauty on her wedding day, and she managed to surprise everyone with a second dress change! After the ceremony, she slipped into a sleek, halter dress for the cake-cutting and champagne tower celebration. Her transformation was breathtaking, and it added an exciting element of surprise to the evening! The style didn’t stop there! Their wedding party consisted of eight close friends and family members who stood by Christine and Daniel’s side throughout the day. Christine’s girls wore a green accent dress with different cuts. This added a fresh and earthy touch to the classic black and white suits worn by the groomsmen.
The contrast between the green and the monochrome suits created a timeless and stylish feel.
After their traditional Vietnamese wedding celebration, Christine and Daniel prepared to set out on their dream honeymoon in Hawaii! They left the Monday after their wedding and soaked in all the joys of being married!
