So Anastasia’s first, wait – I guess it would be second – email to me just about rocked my socks off! I love when brides email me and you can literally taste the excitement gushing from their CAPS and exclamation points!!! Originally from Jacksonville (by way of Delaware), Ana found herself head over heels in love with Curtis and moved up to Ohio to be with him back in 2007. It mostly happened like that :)
Planning their destination wedding was the perfect way to bring their families together and celebrate their love in the sun with some beachy July nuptials!
Even though they’re from my home-state of Ohio, I never got to meet Anastasia and Curtis until their wedding day! It was like a big’ol blind date :) So I got to learn SO many fantastic things about them that you just don’t get through emails… like, that Curtis pop and locks! At least, I think that’s what it is, I’m not up on all the current dance trends ;)
I also got to work with some of my favorite videographers, Mary and Jamie from Key Moment Films! They did a super sweet Same-Day Edit that we all watched at the reception! I’ve shared it below for everyone to enjoy!! :)
Venue: Casa Ybel Resort, Sanibel Island FL
Catering: Thistle Lodge
Florist: Libby’s Flowers
Cake Artist: Masons Bakery
Videographer: Key Moment Films
Hair and Makeup: Jamie Lyn Cintron’s Salon & Studio
Bridal Designer: Melissa Sweet

Above: Let’s just chat about the cuteness of their Save the Dates and Invites! These definitely set the pace for the destination wedding theme!
Below: Curtis and Anastasia share a love for the Infinity sign and used it throughout the day!
I loved the gorgeous alternative to the traditional bridesmaid bouquet!
With over 85 “Shares” and counting, Ana and Curtis chose a beautiful art-ceremony instead of the traditional sand-ceremony or unity candle! This is such an amazing idea to keep a piece of your wedding day in a modern and creative way!
After their first dance, they went back outside for some amazing sunset light!
And the last shot was of their reactions during the Same Day Edit viewing from Key Moment Films! Enjoy their video below :)
