A couple of sneaker-heads tied the knot at the Omni Orlando Resort at ChampionsGate, and their wedding was an event that their guests will never forget! They blended their cultures in such a fun and unique way. They created a seating chart that showcased their shared love of travel, adventure and their own ethnic backgrounds. Instead of traditional table numbers, the seating chart was designed to resemble a map of different locations mapped out. For example, one table was named “The Philippines” because it was the city where DJ’s family was from. Another table was even named “Winter Garden” and “Tampa”! These details gave their guests an interactive experience. It allowed them to discover new places and learn more about the couple’s background!
Veronica and DJ, both avid sneaker collectors, decided to incorporate their passion for footwear into their wedding day. They chose the Omni Orlando for its elegant atmosphere. As the evening progressed DJ changed into his red and white nikes while Veronica wore her pearled out sneaks. They even displayed their sneakers at their rehearsal dinner the night before!
Having two wedding dresses is becoming a popular trend in modern weddings, and this couple was no exception. The bride had two stunning gowns that perfectly complemented the black and white color scheme of the wedding. For the ceremony, Veronica wore a gorgeous off white gown with a low cut v-neck and little cap sleeves. The dress featured intricate beading and sequins that shimmered in the light, making her the center of attention as she walked down the aisle. She later changed into a timeless white gown with a fitted bodice and slitted skirt that allowed for the perfect amount of movement for dancing!
The Latin Ambition Band kept the party going all night, singing hip-hop and R&B classics that had everyone on the dance floor. The couple shared their first dance to a romantic ballad, but soon after, Veronica was seated by all the groomsmen for an epic NSYNC performance! Needless to say, guests left with memories of a wedding like no other at the end of the night. It was a truly memorable and personalized touch that added to the overall joy and celebration of their special day!
