This lakeside backyard wedding all started with a shared passion for water skiing. They first met in 2017 while representing Team USA at the Junior World Championships in Santiago, Chile. They instantly had a deep, genuine connection that has only grown stronger over the years.
Anna comes from a family of water skiers. Her father was a professional water skier, and this legacy undoubtedly influenced Anna’s path. Sean, meanwhile, found a perfect partner in Anna, not only on the water but in life as well. The two kept in touch and later found themselves attending the University of Alabama together, where they both skied for the university’s team. At the end of their freshman year, their friendship bloomed into a romantic relationship.
When I first met them for their engagement session, I could tell their immense love for each other. They wanted to keep their engagement session personal and playful so we met at her childhood home for a boat day! Sean lowkey loved getting his picture taken giving me all the model faces. Anna treasures Sean’s loving, caring, and supportive nature, appreciating how he always thinks of ways to help improve her skiing and support her in every way. Sean loves coming home from work and seeing her happiness. He also adores her care for others, especially enjoying the way she gets all giddy when helping someone else.
Roll Tide
As they planned for their wedding day they knew they wanted to incorporate UA in some capacity. The reception was the perfect place to do that! Guests went wild over their University of Alabama-colored pompoms! They also had custom cups repping the university as well as a cake of the U of A stadium. Anna and Sean were so excited about being married and having all their friends and family together to celebrate their love. After an incredible night of celebrating, Anna changed into a cute mini-dress paired with none other than red heels. Family and friends gathered around to cheer on the newlyweds as they headed off in a red M3 BMW. This was the same BMW that her grandparents used for their exit! Anna and Sean, it was so much fun celebrating with you all!
