There is no place like Florida to have a cozy Casa Feliz winter wedding. You get the cool air in the afternoon with a little bit of sun peeking through to keep you warm and a perfect chilly night!
Courtney and Sean’s wedding felt so fresh and organic with that European countryside feel at Casa Feliz. Family means everything to them so when planning their wedding they didn’t want it to feel like a traditional wedding.
They wanted it to be a little more personable – like having some of your closest friends over for dinner, alfresco style! Courtney and Sean are huge lovers of the great outdoors. Paddle boarding, throwing the football around, doing yoga –ย you name it, they love it! Aside from soaking up the sun, they love to cook with each other while jamming out to Frank Sinatra. So, it was no surprise their first dance was “Somewhere over the Rainbow” by…you guessed it, Frank Sinatra.
Courtney and Sean have actually known each other since middle school. They even remember dancing with each other at their middle school dance! But somehow they lost touch and reconnected about two years ago after Sean invited Courtney to a Magic basketball game. After that, they stayed in touch and now, they’re honeymooning in Antigua! It’s funny how life works out sometimes.
Casa Feliz Wedding
We worked with some incredible vendors for their wedding day! They wanted a style that had all the elements of an earthy afternoon at a cozy European home.
Farmwood tables, elegant candelabras and greenery adorned the reception space. A clear tent with market lights and chandeliers was set up in the courtyard for dinner service, and then guests danced indoors!
