I first met Rachel when I was doing headshots for an Orlando based event planning team, An Affair to Remember. As we started talking it just so happens she was looking for a photographer for her wedding in the next couple of weeks. Unfortunately, I was already planning my Boudoir Marathon that same day so sadly I had to decline.
But once we started about all the details we found out I’m going to be staying at the same hotel she was getting married! My boudoir girls were totally flexible and allowed me to move their shoot to the next day. It all started falling into place from there! Their wedding was a dream come true for Rachel. Celebrating the newly married couple we got the family together for a little portrait session in Oviedo.
I have photographed Rachel and Teddy pretty much every Christmas since we met. Kristen Johnson and her family have joined in a couple of times and to be honest, you never know what could happen with that. Teddy and Mathew (Kristen’s husband) decided they wanted to be 12 again and climb a tree that was hanging over the water! Why not, right? Luckily they didn’t fall in – or maybe not because those would have been funny pictures to look back on.
Believe it or not this is how they did their baby reveal. And that’s okay because that’s totally them – Goofy and in love!
I think everyone should do the robot before revealing what they’re having.
It’s a Girl!
Rachel and Teddy get ready for Charlotte. Can you tell they’re excited by the look on their face? I love how Rachel and Teddy are such goof balls. They came in for a fun photoshoot before Charlotte was born and teddy was wearing a ridiculous outfit – but that’s just Teddy!
Teddy and Rachel have the quirkiest relationship so it’s always fun shooting with them because then I get pictures like the ones above! But, on a more serious note we took some romantic photos by the lake at a nearby Oviedo park.

A Minnie Mouse Birthday
Charlotte turns two with Minnie Mouse right by her side! At first she wasn’t having it but when Teddy got out those big Mickey Hands and making her laugh she warmed up a little bit!
Another Christmas with the Willems
All smiles for the Willems family but what you don’t see is Gabby running and leaping from one wall to the other to try to get some smiles out of Charlotte. It worked pretty well!
