Ever since I shot Kristin and Mike’s engagement session we have become really close friends. Kristin is someone that will have your back no matter what – if you don’t like someone she’s right there with you! I can’t believe I have been photographing their family for almost a decade now! Mike and Kristin have brought me along through all life’s adventures. Everything from newborn sessions, birthday parties, family portraits, and Kristin’s “30th Birthday Cake Smash” that was featured on RedBubble.com . (scroll down to see the photos)
They both grew up on a farm and her parents have a farm on their property so we thought that would be the perfect spot to take their engagement photos.
Interlachen Country Club Wedding

Kristin and Mike got married on November 11th, 2011 at the Interlachen Country Club in Winter Park. One of my favorite moments of their wedding was when Kristin’s dad put on a little show to make sure his baby girl will be taken care of for life. He gave Mike a man to man speech along with a hand made book called “Care & Feeding of High Maintenance Wife”. Everyone was dying of laughter!

I couldn’t tell if Harper was excited, scared, or mad to have a new baby sister coming. But I can tell that Mike would have been a little more thrilled with a box full of blue balloons. There is no doubt his girls bring him all the joy in the world. I’m sure it makes his bromances that much more special!

30 is Young AF
Kristin is known for throwing her girls the coolest birthday parties so when she turned 30 of course she had to put together the cutest adult cake smash photoshoot! She had a chalkboard sign that lists all of her favs made by an Etsy artist – ElsyandGrace. Her cake was made by her go to, Jilly Cakes!
