The buzz around the KWP studio this wedding season has been all about bridal gowns and the different wedding dress designers. Which ones are our favorites? Which designer are we going to use for our future wedding gowns? How are we going to travel all the way to Australia to try on the perfect gown???? While we all share a similar love for all things bridal, we still have our personal favorite designers. So lets see the wedding dress designers we can’t stop talking about.
Paolo Sebastian; a twenty-nine-year Australian fashion designer has a way of making his designs come to life, he can achieve this with his intricate detailing and traditional craftsmanship. In a recent sit-down interview, Paolo stated that a lot of his inspiration comes from storybooks and fairytales. With this being said, he is someone to keep in mind if you want to feel like a queen on one of the most special days of your life! With just one collection released a year, Paolo Sebastian is known for making his debut, unlike anything you’ve ever seen. Apart from his beautiful gowns, his runway show is known to tell a story.
Berta Balilti has been creating her worldwide name since 2004. Berta is a designer that we can’t get enough of. Throughout the years, Berta has become known for her glitzy avant-garde bridal designs. For her recent 2020 Summer/Spring collection she focused on designs with sheer materials and plunging V-necks. The Berta bride is sure to feel comfortable and confident in any design she wears on her big day!
Dana Harel is providing high-end bridal gowns for the fashion-forward woman. Harel brings a breath of fresh air into her bridal gowns by using customized fabrics and different materials like crystal beading, imported leathers and embroidery. It has been said that Harels unique approach to design encompasses the “modern bride”. Some of our favorite collections include “Wild Flower” and “Morning Star”. Harel is perfect for the brides who loves the small details, all the way from the types of flowers at their reception to the beading on their gown.
Inbal Dror, created a name for himself around the world but specifically in Israel. Dror’s designs are best known for their exclusivity and sheer craftsmanship. This year Dror’s collection consists of the soft palette of Ivory, vanilla, champagne and Charcoal Blush hues where he incorporates layers of silk tulle and unexpected laser cutouts. His gowns aren’t designed for just anyone – his gowns are out of the box thinking. Which is why these bridal gowns are the perfect choice for the unconventional bride.
Monique Lhuillier; known around the world for her couture bridal collection, Lhuillier’s designs encompass the feeling of femininity, allure and glamour. Her recently released Fall 2020 bridal, which she referred to as “a celebration of life”, is absolutely stunning. Lhuillier tends to be bold with colorful florals, botanical prints, and silhouettes composed of billowing sleeves and exaggerated trains. One of Kellens’ favorite things about Lhuillier is the use of versatile pieces such as detachable boleros, capes and vails like you’ve never seen before. This is the designer for the bride that wants to bring a modern twist to different traditional elements.
