Rewind all the way back to July when an excited mother contacted me about her daughter’s upcoming proposal! I was super excited to be included and couldn’t wait to hear more details. Waiting all the way until November was tough, but this surprise proposal and party went off without a hitch and now, college sweethearts Kaajal and Eddie are engaged!
After trying to plan the perfect spot, Krutika (Kaajal’s mom) and Eddie chose The Four Seasons Resort in Orlando. The reflection pond at the back of the building was the perfect spot. They had it adorned with candles, lush floral arrangements and white rose petals scattered along the walkway! Keep reading for more details and how the entire thing unfolded!
A Surprise Proposal
While Eddie waited for his fiance-to-be, he asked us to make sure he stood up straight and had good posture! He was so nervous! But once he saw her, he totally relaxed and got ready for his big moment!
After Eddie proposed, Kajaal said Thank You about 100 times! It was honestly the cutest thing ever!
After she said YES! They were greeted with friends and family who joined them from inside! They were all hiding and Kajaal was surprised to see so many of her loved ones there!
Although I adore all the hugs and excitement, I love the photo below when Kajaal’s dad got emotional and they had a sweet moment together!
Following the celebration, I got to spend a little time with the newly engaged couple for portraits around the resort!
Kajaal wanted to change in to this beautiful gown (below) – a sky blue and sequined tulle dress!
After a big group photo, they were treated to an amazing dinner party with all their guests inside the hotel!
We took a couple quick photos inside on the grand staircase before we headed out, wishing this adorable couple all the best in their wedding planning!
I loved getting to be part of their surprise proposal and hope to see them again soon!
