Verdin Bridal

Get ready to meet the newest designer at The Bridal Finery! Our first stop was at Verdin Bridal, where we met the designer, Gustavo Nuรฑez.

We loved hearing the story behind his collection and his passion for brilliantly hand-crafted gowns that brides will love to wear.

VERDINย is named after his mother Maria as she encouraged him to follow his creative passions since he was a child. His designs are influenced from his Mexican roots and infused with New York and Los Angeles vibes.

Lee Petra Grebenau

Our second stop was at the Lee Petra Grebenau fashion house to view the 2023 collection, Primavera. We loved viewing the intricate designs of the Israeli born Grebenau, especially the femininity showcased in some of our favorites, shown below.

Ines di Santo

No trip to NYBFW would be complete without a double-appointment to view the entire Ines di Santo couture and diffusion lines. The Bridal Finery and Ines have had a long-standing friendship in the bridal industry, and we always love the warm welcome (and snacks) at the Ines showroom! This year, the new collection is sprinkled with beautiful colorful fabrics in soft pastels and hand-painted accents. We have so many favorites, so this next section shows just a few.

I was especially excited to hear that The Bridal Finery will now be carrying Ines di Santo exclusively in Orlando! I can’t wait to see some of my brides wear these designs! Ines has an inate sensibility to dress a woman’s figure – and whether a ballgown or tuxedo, you can see her attention to construction and detail in every design.

Anne Barge

This was my first time visiting the Anne Barge appointment and I loved being introduced to her work in a more personal way! The Bridal Finery currently carries a great option of curve gowns, a specialty of the Anne Barge line. Beautiful construction and a more preppy, Cape Cod look gives me Jackie O at the Cape vibes!

Maria Elena Headpieces

I have a really good excuse for not taking a lot of photos during our Maria Elena appointment. First of all, it’s always so great to see Giselle and the team from MEH. I’ve gotten to see them during every NYBFW visit! But from the second you walk in, it’s like this overwhelming excitement of tables on tables of all the most beautiful headpieces, earrings, necklaces and jewels you could ever imagine! We walk through the room with a tray where we just put all the things we think The Bridal Finery brides would love.

When I say these girls STOCK UP – plus we always grab a couple cute things for ourselves! We spend the rest of the appointment arguing over whether to call it a tiara or headband; and trying on the craziest pieces we can find (like these giant chandelier earrings in the first pic).

My favorite part is just seeing how different Roberta and Tali’s style can be! Roberta will pick up really chunky pieces, Tali will pick up really delicate pieces – and they both think the other is crazy. And although I generally side with Tali on style, I love that they bring 2 entirely different perspectives to cater to their brides!

After this appointment, we did a quick 2-photo maternity session for Tali! She’s expecting her second baby soon!

Fun fact – barely anyone knew she was pregnant when we went to market, so I had to carefully check every IG story before posting it so you couldn’t tell!

Reem Acra

Oh Reem Acra. I am enamored with these beautiful designs. Feminine, whimsical and thoughtful – Reem always has a fairy-tale element to her designs and it was so apparent in this new collection.

Dana Harel

Our last stop before heading to the airport (which was a WHOLE adventure on its own) was at Dana Harel. This was my very first time meeting the DH team and seeing the designs in person. Overall, it’s a beautiful collection of delicate fabrics, lightweight and sexy. I loved the unique collection of fabric and embellishments – like floral lace, beading and feather.
