Intimate rustic fall Casa Feliz wedding

This incredible Casa Feliz wedding topped off our fall wedding season the day after Thanksgiving! Complete with apple cider tasting for their 35 guests, these high school sweethearts spent the evening enjoying the cool weather and autumn colors of Winter Park!
I love how they met! In Tessa’s words, “I was on homecoming court and he was running the event. My escort wasn’t going to make it to the rehearsal, and he *conveniently* stepped in to escort me!” At their homecoming dance, which was also Matt’s birthday, he asked her to save him a dance – and the rest, as they say, is history!
A little white lie turned in to a beautiful proposal, when Matt asked Tessa to run an errand with him to a job-site. When they arrived, a gazeboย was decorated and outfitted with a small speaker, a thermos of hot chocolate and 2 copper mugs.
“Matt had a playlist of our favorite songs and we danced in the gazebo under the twinkling lights toย Ed Sheeran’s “Thinking Out Loud”, when he got on one knee and proposed! It was the sweetest, best moment of my life.”
Their wedding was absolutely perfect – a small affair with about 50 guests on the lawn of Casa Feliz, and a delicious dinner under a clear tent with lights and a chandelier and family style tables.
Although I had one more wedding of 2016, this was the last wedding of “season” and I couldn’t have thought of a better way to end it!
