Great Exuma Bahamas
July 19, 2016
I am so excited to post a teaser blog from Lauren and Harrison’s elopement at Sandals Emerald Bay in Great Exuma Bahamas! Although it initially began as just the 4 of us traveling for their elopement, it grew to include both of their parents (and Harrison’s sister)!
Their wedding was almost derailed by a crazy hurricane-force storm that blew over the island – but after about an hour postponement, the rain lightened up and we were back on track for their beach-side ceremony. Through a little sprinkle and a lot of wind, Lauren and Harrison said “I Do” on what’s believed to be the most beautiful island in the Caribbean. Crystal blue and turquoise waters where you can see the stingrays swim alongside you… it was truly heaven!
They had a small cocktail reception where Harrison SANG to his new wife (seriously, he has an incredible voice!) and they enjoyed appetizers before a private dinner.
I highly recommend Sandals Emerald Bay to any couples looking for a romantic and beautiful getaway! We even went out the next day for a 5-hour excursion (an “ocean safari”) where we traveled to deserted islands and did some light hiking, swam with pigs, visited “dinosaur island” – full of giant iguanas – and swam in the open sea! It was absolutely incredible and I was so glad to share it with this beautiful and fun couple!
I’ll be sure to share their FULL blog post in the next few months, but couldn’t resist a teaser blog of their wedding day and trash the dress session around the property!

We took a day break to go out on our Ocean Safari and Swim with the Pigs, so we got back together on Thursday for a “Day After” session around the property!
I am so thankful Lauren and Harrison embraced our Pokemon Go time! We got the most amazing Pokemon on the island so we spent some quality time, even in the middle of our session, hunting for rare Pokemon!
