Soo…. we’re only about 3 months behind on blogging, no big deal.
I’m so excited to share the destination wedding of Steve and Christina down in Marco Island, FL. Funny story, is that I actually arrived SUPER early for their wedding…. like, a week early. Which made for a really long day since the drive is about 4 hours from Orlando!
Christina is a photographer from Pittsburgh, PA, which is only about an hour from my home in Youngstown, Oh! If you’re feeling ambitious, check out the amazing woodsy engagement shoot we did for them while we were up north here.
Christina and Steve’s style is kind of like bohemian nerdy chic – it’s pretty amazing, and I knew she would incorporate beautiful, whimsical details to her wedding day! They opted for a beachfront wedding ceremony with an outdoor patio reception at the Marco Island Marriott Beach Resort – which is absolutely gorgeous! Her bridesmaids wore soft pink with flower crowns and the guys went for classic gray suits and bowties. Since this was a destination wedding for them, we made sure to bring in lots of seaside elements to her detail shots – and of course, her favorite, palm trees!!
