I am absolutely loving this preppy navy and pink monogrammed wedding from a couple of puppy-doting lawyers! Bethany and Brian, both UF Law School grads, met during their first few weeks at UF. Although no one really knows Brian’s version of the story, Bethany decided Brian was a know-it-all and wasn’t overly fond of him (knowing Bethany, I’m not uber surprised by this). They decided that this contempt was a little more like love, and without any formalities, just decided to be together. Just like that. Like lawyers do.
Bethany and Brian are huge beer snobs and puppy-parents to Pete and Parker (who joined us post-ceremony for the family formals, of course!), so this was a favorite moment of mine! More so when one of them (I’m not sure who, but I think Bethany knows), barked their arrival outside the church right before their first kiss. We all heard it, and it was perfect.
Sandi pulled together a gorgeously preppy reception at Interlachen Country Club. Guests were greeted at cocktail hour with escort card personal succulents and a digital caricature artist! We were immediately blown away by the stunning cake Jennyfer at The Sugar Suite created for them with the most perfect navy and white bows! Amber uplighting and a mix of white flowers and pink tulips surrounded the tables (Bethany’s best friend, Paisley, passed away about 10 years ago and tulips were her favorite – so she made sure to incorporate them!)
And I couldn’t wrap up without talking about the simple elegance of Bethany’s Rivini dress from Solutions Bridal Design House! The ruffles on the back were so perfect for the style of the day and matched perfectly with the delicate pink trim on the bridesmaids gowns. And to top off the bridal fashion – the most perfect navy monogrammed clutches for the girls!
As a quick sidenote – super trooper Bethany had an emergency root canal the day before the wedding and was happily happy with a multitude of pain meds. Although I’m off mine, I thought it only fitting to blog their wedding whilst also recovering from an emergency root canal. We’re like awesome teeth-sisters. Except I like cats.
