When Dawn and Matt were preparing for their wedding, they definitely had their hands full! With a great job opportunity, Matt moved their new little family to North Carolina just weeks before their big day! So their wedding was truly a celebration of the start of something new and exciting – and they had their friends and family along side to celebrate!
We loved working with this gorgeous couple for their wedding – seriously, they are so photogenic! We were also working with one of our favorite event designers, Barb, from Artistry Designs Group. I just adored how they combined classic chic roses with wild orchids for their centerpieces! It was the perfect combination of elegance and spunk – just like Dawn and Matt!
Not only will they always remember their wedding for the amazing day that it was – but also for the evening of the Supermoon! On this day, the moon was the closest to the earth that it will be all year. So it was in the stars for a perfect wedding evening :)
To the Doctor and your beautiful new wife, we hope for so much amazingness to follow you both on your new path together! And please have lots of really pretty little babies :)

Dawn and Matt shared their first look on the rooftop outside of Matt’s room. The weather was amazing, if not just a bit toasty, but everyone survived :)
Without going down to the beach, we were slightly limited on outside venues for photos. So we decided to make use of the beautiful interior of the Hyatt!
Plus there was air conditioning!
Market lights on a bright day make for funny shadows :)
I promise that standing on this roof was like shooting in to the center of the sun, and it’s only about a mile away.
I need to reconsider my black-pants wedding attire.
Dawn surprised Matt with a groom’s cake of his precious Tuxie!
The coolest part of these sunset shots on the roof of the Hyatt was that you can turn 180 degrees from the sunset
and see the fantastic Super Moon rising over Clearwater!
After Dawn’s dance with her dad – she grabbed her grandpa for a Polka!
Lots of Chomping going on….
…. and then there was this one time where they broke out in a Dance-Off
