March 1, 2012 | Lake Alfred, FL
From the second that I met Danielle, her mom and sister at Panera, I knew I’d absolutely adore working with her! Even though there were a few changes along the way (I think it started as a cruise, which turned in to a bigger affair in Lake Alfred), Danielle and Aaron had their perfect wedding day – from the weather to all of their family and friends, even the wedding being on a Thursday – it was beautiful, emotional and so much fun!
There were so many emotional moments during the day – from their first look, to Aaron sobbing down the aisle, and even the special surprise moment that Danielle’s dad shared during the reception – you’ll love this wedding :)
Shooting for other photographers is always tricky (Danielle owns Back Alley Photography) – but I still maintain that it’s one of the highest honors to be asked by a fellow colleague to join them on such an important day. I never take our responsibility lightly, but appreciate the trust that Danielle and Aaron gave us and hope they love these photos as much as I do! More importantly, I want to thank their entire family for being so wonderful to Alyssa and I! We had such a fantastic time! The food was so good (and we ate our fair share), and the treats were even better! If someone missed out on the little cake treat from the groom’s table – it’s most likely because I had two (but I didn’t get a piece of cake – so it balanced out, right?)!

Let’s start with my own little happy photobomb!
I was legit obsessed with how gorgeous Samantha did Danielle’s makeup! She looked flawless!
Window light, makeup, earrings….
so pretty!
Danielle and Aaron had a perfect First Look – with a few sneaky on-lookers :)
Ok…. so when they realized they forgot the sand for the sand ceremony, we started to get creative…
I’d like to rebuke every person that says that a first look ruins the moment of actually coming down the aisle.
Even after the first look – Aaron definitely felt the emotion of the ceremony!
….Koolaid and Lemonade….
So crazy over this cake!!
Outside they had the most awesome kid’s table! Colored pencils, soda, crosswords and ring pops!
And they didn’t skimp on Aaron’s “groom cake” – which was more like a full Fireman setup of little cakes!
A full candy bar for the guests….
So this next series requires a bit of an explanation.
Danielle’s dad had chosen a song for their father/daughter dance. But unbeknownst to Danielle – he went and recorded it himself!
Danielle had no idea he was singing it until about a minute in…
this is her realization….
